Autumn celebration of learning!
Our trip to Butser Farm
Year 3 had the exciting opportunity to visit Butser Ancient Farm this half term as part of our learning about the Prehistoric World. We took part in many activities including making a clay pot, using flint to carve a picture out of chalk and excavating artefacts in an archaeological dig. We experienced what it would have been like to live in a Stone Age house with only fire for warmth and light.
Celebrating Diwali

This half term, we have explored the celebration of Diwali. We learnt about the story of Rama and Sita, and why this is important to Diwali. Using clay and vibrant colours, we created Diva lamps and Rangoli patterns.
