APPS Safety Curriculum         

Safeguarding is paramount at APPS and is the thread that runs through the curriculum and daily life of our pupils.

Children learn how to keep themselves safe through explicitly taught lessons, assemblies and events alongside frequent reminders and an open dialogue with peers and adults. The Smart School Council ensures that every pupil has a voice and that every voice is valued. It is an effective system to gather how our pupils are feeling and what they believe we can do better to keep them safe and to support them socially, emotionally and academically.
